I am an experienced and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Medicare registered. I hold a Masters in Medical and Psychiatric Social work and also a dual specialisation masters in Community development. I have completed a postgraduate diploma in Women and Child development and hold an Executive Masters in Business Administration specialising in Human Resource Management.

I am qualified in providing supervision to social workers, counsellors, welfare workers and social work students. I have a great interest in working closely with Social Workers in rural and regional areas.

Clinical Supervision is a process of reflecting upon your work to develop your skills and knowledge. Many professionals seek supervision outside their organization as they find that their manager or supervisor has to compete or balance supervision against organizational demands. Professionals often feel a lot more comfortable and confident discussing their strengths and weaknesses as a worker with someone that does not have a vested interested in making sure they are performing.

Counselling is a process of receiving  professional support and guidance in the focus of resolving various personal, social and psychological problems. This process will involve education around the challenges, resources, discussion of options, possibilities and having a solution focused approach to those challenges identified.
